About the app
Teleprompter Premium is a local-first teleprompter and video recorder. Your scripts and recordings stay on your device. No account, no cloud sync, no ads.
Supported languages: English, French, Arabic (including RTL).
Common questions
Camera or microphone not working
Studio needs permission to record video (and optionally audio).
1. Open Settings → Teleprompter Premium
2. Enable Camera (required for Studio preview and recording)
3. Enable Microphone (optional — recording works without audio if declined)
If permissions were denied earlier, toggle them on in Settings, then restart the App.
Restore Premium purchases
1. Open the App → Settings or the Paywall
2. Tap Restore Purchases
3. Ensure you are signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
Subscriptions are managed under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Scripts and recordings are local
- Scripts and recordings are stored only on your device
- We cannot recover deleted content from our servers (we do not host your files)
- Back up important scripts (Premium: TXT export) and recordings (Share Sheet → Files or your preferred destination)
Free plan limits
The free plan includes up to 5 user scripts and 5 recordings. Built-in sample scripts do not count toward the script limit. Premium removes these limits.
Import / export (Premium)
Premium supports TXT import and export via the system file picker. Files you select are processed on-device.
Sharing a recording
Use Share on a recording to open the iOS Share Sheet and send the video to an app or location you choose.
